DELIVERY & CUSTOMER PICKUP-
Our entire menu is planned and prepared for your specific needs. Generally a 3 to 4 day notice is desired for our complete menu. Quick, last minute, or unexpected orders are subject to availability, and we will do our best to meet your needs! For customer pickup at our catering office there is no charge. Deliveries in and around the Rockford area start at $15. A minimum requirment of 10 people will be required for deliveries. Out of town delivery starts at $25 and is subject to availability. For weddings and large scale events, delivery is included in the service charge.
EVENT SETUP AND CLEANUP-
Hall setup is completed based upon availability of the venue where the wedding or event is being held. ABC Catering will pick up all remaing rentals and linens the follow business day at no additional charge. If in the event that all rentals and linens would be required to be to removed the evening of the event, an additional fee would be assessed for staff who have to do a "late night" cleanup. If the event host would like to take responsibility for collecting and returning all rentals, than no fee will be charged. Events and weddings that have bartenders who are there until the end of the event, will take all rentals, linens, and equiptment back with them that evening.
RESERVATIONS / CANCELATIONS-
Generally, we require a small deposit to hold and guarantee your date and time. We do not have any contracts or agreements in wich you have to sign. Though, we are happy to prepare one if you so desire. A minimum 10% deposit is required for all wedding receptions and large events upon acceptance of our wedding or event proposal, and a small deposit is required for any full service catered events. For weddings, we ask you to provide a "minimum guest count" 30 days or sooner prior to your date, and your “Final Guest Count” is due 2 weeks prior to your date. This final guest count is a guaranteed number and not subject to reduction unless approved by our management. All deposits are applicable to your final bill. In the event of cancellation, deposits are non-refundable or subject to management approval.
ABC Catering is happy to provide you with a large variety of linens, china, napkins, etc, for your event. These items are only available to clients whom have arranged for food and/or beverage services though us. Rental service only is NOT available, but we would be happy to reccommend a local rental company to provide those services. As the client you are welcome to provide your own linens shoud you so choose. However mixing of items will be allowed. (For example, you can not provide linens for half of the tables and get the other half of the linens from us.)
CAKE CUTTING SERVICE-
There is no additional cost for cake cutting service for all full service weddings and events. All reusable parts that are left from the cake bakery, will be rinsed (if available) and boxed for you to return to your cake provider.
The food prepared and provided by ABC Catering, Ltd. for your party belongs to you, and any unused food items are not returnable. Our full service package includes wrapping and packing of all leftovers under the food safety guidelines set forth by the IL State and local health department. ABC Catering will use all proper handling of any and all of your menu items not consumed by your guests onsite. You, “The Customer,” agree to hold ABC Catering, Ltd. harmless from any and all causes that may arise from the consumption of any of your leftover foods.
We accept cash, company or personal check, and most major credit cards. (American Express, Visa, MasterCard & Discover Card) All payments made with personal checks must be made 3 business days prior to event or delivery of food. Payment is required at pick up or prior to delivery/event. For a wedding or large event, payments are required to be paid no later than 3 days prior to the day. Multiple payments can be made prior to a wedding or event. Any payments made will be aplied to the balance. Direct billing arrangements are available and can be established for our corporate clients –Please inquire. Please supply tax-exempt certificates for all tax-exempt organizations. A 2% late fee / per month, will be assessed to all past due invoices. A $25 fee will be assessed for any returned checks.
Whether it's a delivery or a full service wedding or event, tip is not included in the cost of delivery or the service charge. Tipping is based on your discreation. And although it is not require, it is apprecaited by the staff.
We can provide bar service for any event, with a minimum requirement of 50 people. Open bar, as well as cash or a tally bar is avaible. Alcohol services must be arranged prior to your event. By law we are required to provide food service along with any alcohol services. For more details please contact our office.
